Harry has sold The Coaching Inn and has now bought a ballroom, The Plaza Suite. Having recovered from his gunshot wounds (Series 2, “A Once Fluid Man”), Ken has set up a new office for Texas Rangers in Smethwick. Debbie left in a hurry and is now married. Ken and Margaret drifted apart but have recently met again by chance; Margaret had left the police force and is now running a private detective agency. Ken and Margaret join forces to form Boon-Daly Investigations (BDI, pronounced Beady Eye), renting an office within the Plaza Suite.
