Ken had moved into Orchard Cottage, a dilapidated house in the village of Rookham and was living there rent-free in exchange for renovating it for the owner.
Harry had moved into a two-storey flat. Rocky was lodging with Laura and her flatmate. He was beginning to get fed up with his lack of job prospects at CBS. In “Cab Rank Cowboys” he was planning to emigrate to Australia for “a bit of adventure” until Ken and Harry offered him a junior partnership (“an executive role”) with CBS.
