Leads to British Leyland factory, Longbridge – in box of steering wheels on MG Metro production line
Clue 2 Consider the lilies in the local homophonic queue: but it’s Annie’s cognomen you’re after.
Leads to Botanical Gardens, Edgbaston – in rice plant in tropical house
Clue 3 On the banks of the Cole, at a Hobbity hole, look on the revolving buckets.
Leads to Sarehole Mill, Hall Green – on waterwheel
Clue 4 At the Forest of Cards north of Lapworth locks. On the Master’s mount find the Jack in the box.
Leads to Packwood House – Jack in pack of cards in spiral hedge beside yew tree
Clue 5 Take an easting to the centre of this blessed plot and strike the standard to get to the heart of the matter.
Leads to Meriden – brooch on flag of St George on the green
Result The contestants ran out of time on the final clue
