Notes
As usual, the cameraman was Graham Berry, but the video engineer was Serge Beaupere (instead of Frank Meyburgh) and the local helicopter was flown by Miltos Broubas (instead of Keith Thompson).
1 Zoologist Gerald Durrell lived in Perama in a pink villa and beyond this is Kaiser’s Bridge. In the Achillion Palace is a statue of Achilles, the clue being at the base – near his heel!
2 In Corfu Town, south of Saint Spiradou Cathedral, is a place where candles are made. The clue is wrapped around a long candle.
3 Annie flies to Potamus Bay (headless hippo) and the folklore village. The clue is found on a backgammon board.
4 The helicopter flies to Dassia – the Greek letters Δασια (delta alpha sigma iota alpha) spell ‘Dasia’ – and lands on the beach. The clue is on a trident sticking out of the sea.
