Clue 1 Never mind the monk and the Swiss miss: Focus on a more infamous face. As the White Spider leads you up the wall, bring in the Pfeiler specialist.
Leads to North Face of the Eiger – a climber with the clue is winched up to the helicopter
Re-position to Lauberhorn
Clue 2 A waterproof hat is the first clue to a high point where Mr Lazenby was involved in shots. The next clue comes to light in a revolver indicating his number’s up.
Leads to Schilthorn – in mountain-top restaurant used as James Bond film set
Clue 3 Halfway to the glacier village, and below the Downhill Only HQ, rack your brain to stop the loopy green runner – and it’s official!
Leads to Wengen – with conductor of rack-railway train
Clue 4 In the place where they tell of an epic apple shoot, aim fiacre-style for the core where, among the Emmental and Appenzell, they make traditional Mutschli.
Leads to Interlaken – among the cheeses in a dairy
Re-position to Swiss Open Air Museum, Ballenberg
Clue 5 The Final Problem: to find where a fall was meant to end what began with A Study in Scarlet.
Leads to Reichenbach Falls – Anneka is winched down to retrieve the treasure, a cigarette case
Result The contestants won the treasure with 1 minute 42 seconds to spare


Notes
As usual, the cameraman was Graham Berry and the video engineer was Frank Meyburgh, but the helicopter was flown by Roland Muhlemann Bohag (instead of Keith Thompson). A winchman called Marcus was also present in the helicopter for Clue 5.
