Notes
1 When Annie returns to the helicopter at the end of the Alnwick Castle clue, Keith hands her a life jacket and makes her put it on. When she reaches Rumbling Kern, a rock on the coast, she sees a yellow Sea King air-sea rescue helicopter. Keith descends to within a few feet of sea and Annie jumps in, after handing the runner pack to Frankie who describes what happens. Once the helicopter has rescued Annie and winched her up, she puts on a new runner pack and is able to communicate with the studio again.
2 The Sea King helicopter takes Annie to Craster, with Graham filming her from the Skyrunner helicopter. She was going to be winched down to a zipwire which crossed an inlet in the cliffs at Hole o’ the Dike just south of Craster, but ran out of time.
