Notes
This was the first “Treasure Hunt” to feature Wincey as adjudicator.
As usual, the cameraman was Graham Berry and the video engineer was Frank Meyburgh, but the local helicopter was flown by Gadi Lahberg (instead of Keith Thompson).
1 The contestants were slow solving this clue, so the helicopter wasted a lot of time circling Mount Herodion. The pilot prompted Anneka to find out where the contestants wanted him to go:
Anneka: We must have a decision chaps. We can’t just fly round Mount Herodion all day...
Liz: You might have to fly round it all programme!
Anneka: Oh, that’d be interesting – we’ve never done that before on a Treasure Hunt.
Liz: Well, we only wanted to win £50 anyway.
Anneka: Kenneth, do you think we should head to Jerusalem?
Kenneth: I thought you were already going there.
Anneka: NO! They just wanted us to circle! The rules are: we’re not allowed to move until the contestants tell US, so... Let’s head to Jerusalem...
