Leads to Bodnant Garden – in a Ceanothus bush on a terrace above the pin mill
Clue 3 Take to the hills above old Pwyllycrochan, make for the anthropoids, and wait till the Penny drops.
Leads to Welsh Mountain Zoo, Colwyn Bay – where Penny the chimp has the clue (and is very reluctant to give it up!)
Clue 4 The White Rabbit tells the West Side story; but on the north side Codman’s woodentops will deliver the punchline.
Leads to Llandudno – with one of the puppets (‘Codman’s Woodentops’) in the Punch & Judy show
Clue 5 With one eye to Master James’s designs, keep another on the suspenders – there’s a golden opportunity there!
Leads to Conwy Suspension Bridge – a bunch of golden daffodils hanging from one of the supports
Result The contestants won the treasure with 1 minute 52 seconds to spare.
